Aviation and Airway Technology
by *LaMonica AndersonAviation and Airway Technology is one of the institute at Gage Park High School. The institute was founded to teach and encourage students to gain experience in the flying field and experience in working. Aviation provides so many opportunities for young students. Aviation and Airway Technology gives so many intelligent students an early chance in the flying field. The program is very interesting if you like to travel. Aviation and Airway Technology provides students at a flying chance. The institute recruits freshmen each year, so they can be in the course sophomore year. The institute require good, and positive attitudes. Another is the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) provides free college courses during the summer, and on Saturdays starting in February, for students with at least a C average. Also Aviation and Airway Technology provides students with summer jobs at their nearest airport in Chicago, and jobs for the graduates of the institutes. Finally, Aviation and Airway Technology provides students at Gage Park High School with an abundance of opportunities. We are provided with an early start at the chance of flying. There are summer jobs at airports for students with a good academic level, also we attend summer college courses for free paid by (CPS) the Board of Education. Also we have a great chance at getting scholarships for colleges as well as earning college credit while in high school but majority junior and senior year. Aviation and Airway Technology is an outstanding program for students interested in careers in flying. |
