AEDF
by Tiffany Scott

The students of Gage Park are doing more than the people may think! Right now its all about education. There are different institute programs at Gage Park that allows students to get a headstart in what they want to do in the future. The program I'm going to talk about right now is AEDF.

AEDF (Associated Equipment Distributor's Foundation) is a program that gives the students a chance to take classes that teach them about working with technology. Get this, in the summer they have the opportunity to go to Daley College to take either Computer Technology and/or Manufacturing Technology classes at no cost at all. Cool right? In manufacturing technology class, they taught us how to make different things such as: hammers, keychains, and even a chess set. Aedf is a good program for the students of Gage Park High School. If you are a freshman, the only thing you have to do is fill out a contract, and by your sophomore year you are in the program. Take it from me, Tiffany Scott, I have been in this program for two years, and it is a good opportunity!
